Brayden's 9 Month Photoshoot

Brayden had his 9 month photos done 2 weeks ago and I just can't believe how big he is getting!! We had the pleasure of having Beth Ann shoot them again...she such an easy person to work with and Brayden really has fun! Here are a few of the amazing shots and we can't wait until his 1 year photos..we already have so many ideas! :)

Brayden's 9 Month Update

NINE MONTHS!!! Seriously it is so overwhelming to think that you will be a year old in 3 months...we just can't believe it. You saw Dr. Beazley this past week and he can't believe how beautifully you are growing. You weigh 16lbs and 6 ounces, your 27.5 inches long and your head is 17.5 inches in diameter. You are one lean, athletically put together little man. Here are few things that he has been up to this past month:

-You are starting to balance yourself and being very careful while doing it
-You are still in 3 diapers
-Your starting to sleep better at night...but it always subject to change
-You are wearing 6 to 9 month clothing
-Still no teeth...but we are an excellent drooler
-We started you on some organic yogurt, and right now you seem to like it
-Your eating more finger foods...a lot of veggies
-We have got you to try cinnamon on some of your food...and you gobble it right down!!
-Your now getting 3-8oz bottles a day
-Your still napping twice a day, anywhere from 2 to 2.5 hours
-You love playing with the dishwasher
-Bath time is your most absolute favorite time of day....you love the water!
-Your starting to babble a lot more...which I am still praying for "Mama" any day now

We love you so much little man, and we are looking forward to your first Easter!!

Consignment Finds

Well this past Saturday my Mom, Ashley and I went to a BIG consignment sale!! It was actually really cool, I had never been to one..but a couple friends of mine had and told me that I should go. So sure enough I got up really early met mom for breakfast and then we were off shopping...I was actually really surprised with what I found!! Brayden got a few toys nothing to crazy...but we did go crazy on the clothes! He got everything between 9 months to 24 months. And I know these will last for awhile considering he is still wearing some of 6 month stuff.

He ended up with 7 outfits (either one pieces or sets), 4 dress shirts, 1 jean jacket, 2 pairs of overalls, 2 pairs of pants and 1 baseball cap....plus his toys..for a grand total of $ 127.67!! Which I cannot believe considering the great condition they were in and the brands that they were. I will definitely be going back in the fall!!



Brayden's 8 Month Update

I am so amazed at the lil man that you are becoming and I cannot hardly believe that you turned 8 months on Wednesday! These past 8 months have been so completely amazing and you are just the sweetest little boy ever!! It is becoming more and more harder to believe that you are learning all these new things and your daddy and I are just floored that you are starting to walk along the couch and other furniture. You are so amazed by everything and everyone...you have yet to meet a stranger. You are becoming a momma's boy, even though it pains your daddy so...but in my defense you said "Dada" first!

-You pull yourself up and walk along the furniture and the cabinets
-You are starting to lift your arm up when people say "Bye Bye"..so I think it is registering
-You take at least 2 naps a day..depending on if your schedule isn't messed up
-Your in 6 to 9 month clothes
-You get 4-7 to 7.5 ounce bottles a day
-Your beginning to hold your sippee cup a little better
-Still no teeth, but we have been trying new finger foods like..green beans, banana pieces and toast
-You are the most cuddly baby in the world and I absolutely love it
-You have a smile for everyone
-You are momma's little helper with the laundry and you follow me everywhere when the vacuum is out

Valentines Day!!

Spent my Valentines with my favorite two men! Brayden got a Valentines bear and some books. The hubby got a new Izod shirt and I got to add a new charm to my pandora bracelet and some beautiful flowers!! I love the simple little things and I wouldn't have it any other way!! Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentines Day!! :)
