Brayden's 10 Month Update

Holy Cow....we have reached DOUBLE DIGITS!!! I can't believe this...my time of you being
my small snuggly little boy is slipping away. You are becoming a little independent boy and I am completely in awe by you and the new things that you are discovering. Here are some of the things you have been up too..

-You are still in size 3 diapers
-Your wearing 6 to 9 month clothing
-You have your nights where you will sleep all night in your crib..and then there are the other nights
-You finally have your bottom 2 teeth
-Your eating habits are becoming tricky lately..one minute you like something and the next not so much
-You love eating bananas, yogurt melts, baked apples, chicken fingers, hot dog pieces, green beans and peas
-Your still getting 3 bottles a day, but we are hoping to cut out the afternoon bottle soon
-Your learning the word NO very quickly
-You are also quick to not get caught doing something
-You have mastered standing on your own
-You have also taken your first steps...it won't be long now
-You give the best hugs..and momma can't get enough of them
-You have begun to wave and learn what Bye Bye is
-You also have become a climber

HAPPY 10 MONTHS BRAYDEN!!

First Lake Day of the Season

Yesterday was gorgeous and in the mid 70's and we couldn't stand it any longer..so we got together with our friends The Greer's and decided to pack up and head to our lake house for the day. Julie and Glen already had their boat ready for the year...so we were off! Brayden seemed to really enjoy it except for the life jacket part...he hated and it was written all over his face. But all in all the lake was beautiful and quiet. Here are a few photos of our adventures day on the water!!

We have a new look!!

After waiting a couple of months our blog finally has its new look!! I have to thank Lauren from Designer Blogs for the fantastic transformation! She really was a great person to work with and didn't mind when I was hit with a new idea to change something. I look forward to working with her and her company again!! :) So what do you guys think??

Mish Mash

-This Friday Brad and I will be celebrating our 5th anniversary...I can hardly believe it!! And since we really haven't had a date night since monkey man was born, Brad is surprising me and Brayden is staying with the in laws overnight!! Hopefully he will be a wonderful angel for them especially when it comes time for him to go to sleep.

-We have been busy around here, we have been fixing our porches on our house and we have come to the decision to extend them and have them meet for one big wrap around. This idea has been roaming around in our heads since we bought the house 6 years ago..but now we can finally do it!

-Brayden finally has teeth!!! They both came in about 2 weeks ago a couple days apart from one another!! We couldn't believe it..he has gone so long without any and we were just so surprised! He is getting so big and strangly becoming so indepentant in ways but completely clingy in others.

-I am obessed with the new Kennedy mini series!! I love anything that has to do with the Kennedy family and this mini series is keeping me very preoccupied this week and the dvr!! So if I am ignoring any phone calls, texts or instant messages around the 8 o clock hour you now know why!! :)

-We are gearing up for mowing season...thank goodness. I have to say even though it is work it is something that seems to make my husband happy!! It is also nice to have a little extra income! :)

-And now for my realization that I will be seeking employment near the end of July...which I hate but it must me done. So hopefully if I find something quickly my mother in law will be keeping Brayden until school starts back and then hopefully we can find some other means...weather it be in church daycare or childcare within a home. But like all bridges we will cross that one closer to the end of the summer.
