32 Weeks

I am a little late with posting this, but so much has been going on. Brad and I went back to the doctor last Friday for my 32 week check up. We got to see lil man and that made everything so much better! We learned that he is head down, weighs about 3lbs and some odd ounces, his blood flow was good..which made us very excited!! We didn't get to see our doctor, so going over the birth plan was a bust. But we did learn from the doctor that my abdomen is not as big as they would like it to be...eekk! So until further notice I am heading to the doctor every week..so they can monitor my fluid and my placenta. She also told me that it had nothing to do with my weight gain that was fine as far as eating or not eating enough, so Brad has been constantly watching me.

On some other notes...sleep has definitely become more of a challenge. I still have not really had any odd cravings...except I love cereal in the mornings..can't get enough of it! We having rushing to get things done around the house since Brad starts his 24 hour shifts on May 1st, so there will something else to get use to before Brayden gets here. Well that is all for now..I will be sure to post this weekend after we head back to the doctor. :)

Nursery Update

Well we finally have a finished nursery! We still have a few things to add to it, but for the most part the big items are out of the way. We plan on hanging a P Buckley Moss print in there..but we are waiting closer to the due date before we order it. And of course his nursery would not be complete without some fire fighter items. We are really happy with the way it turned out, now we are just waiting on our little man to get here!! :)

30 Weeks

Well we are offically in the home stretch!! Only 67 more days, and the only reason I have began the countdown is because I am just so excited to meet Lil One!! We had our check up last Tuesday, his heartrate was in the 140s and sounded so wonderful! My BP was good and she said I was measuring perfectly. Still no strange cravings or heartburn. Sleeping has been an issue for everyone in the family..Me, Brad and the dog! My body pillow seems to be in everyones way, but Brad says it is worth it if I am able to get some sleep..some nights it is helpful and some not so much. We need head back to the doctor next week...and hopefully we can over the birth plan to some degree!! Until then, thanks for reading and we will have new updates soon! :)

Celebrating 4 Years of Marriage!!

WOW!! I cannot believe that Brad and I have been married 4 years today! Time has surely flown by us. We actually get to spend the day together since we have the day off so..we will be running errands and getting things ready in Brayden's nursery! But I thought in honor of the day I would post a few of my favorite photos!! Enjoy! :)

28 Weeks

Sorry guys...I know I have not updated in forever. Been really busy with getting the house in order and other weekend activities. Anyhow...I cannot believe I am already in my 3rd trimester, it is very hard to believe that June is right around the corner! Brayden is progressing nicely his heart rate has been in the 140 range for my last two Dr's appointment's and he should be by now weighing anywhere from 2 to 2.5 pounds. He is most definitely his father's son...he is constantly kicking me, so hopefully there will be a another soccer player in the family!

So far have not experienced any of the awful heartburn I keep hearing about from my fellow pregos out there. So I have been blessed with that. I have however been getting major charlie horses at night and I am not at all the sound sleeper that I use to be. Well that is all to report as of now, I head back to the doctor next week..so we will see what is new with Baby B!

Brayden's Nursery

There is nothing like good motivation to get a project done. When we purchased our nursery set from VA Furniture Market they told us they had it in stock...YAY! But they could only hold it for a month from the purchase date...so we knew we had lots of work to do!! Brad has done such a great job and I can't wait for the finished product and for the delivery date..only 2 more weeks. Here is the set we purchased...with the bedding that I am in love with.

22 Weeks

Well on Friday I was 22 weeks and I cannot believe it! Baby Brayden is about the size of a spaghetti squash and averages about 12 inches in length and his face should be fully formed by now...soo exciting! Also we are thinking we have a future soccer player on our hands...just like daddy! He is most active around 8pm and beyond and also around 9am. So far he hasn't waken me up, but I am told he will. What is also wild is that Brad got to see him move for the first time this week...his expression was priceless!! :)
